Well I realize even my rainy trail reports always have a very positive attitude, but man I think I’d forgotten what its like to go out and face the ultra clear, warm dry sunny weather.  I have nothing negative to say... The wildflowers were blooming, the butterflies were out in full force and the snow was still melting, increasing the size of the streams that dry up in the late summer.  Oh, and did I mention the view from the summit of Alta Mountain?  It was a 2.5 volcano view.  Let me clarify, Rainier and Adams were both prominently visible while Glacier Peak shyly poked out from behind one of the hundreds of the visible cascade peaks.
